Hey, my name is Buddy, and I'm 26. I was born and raised in a tiny corn field of a town in Indiana called Hartford City, and moved to Tulsa Oklahoma about four years ago to pursue music and get away from the boredom of Indiana. I'm a super positive person who believes that there is a bright side to every situation no matter how bleak it seems. I'm extremely outgoing and can talk to pretty much anybody like I've known them forever. I play drums for my praise band at church, and am very involved in our youth program. I also try and do some outreach by teaching kids how to play drums or guitar, which is super fun.
Right now I work for a commercial grade audio/visual company that does installs and services equipment for a bunch of different businesses, schools, churches, and other places. It's a pretty good job, and pays well, but it's not really what I'm passionate about. I'm getting ready to go back to school for Psychology. I hope to start out at TCC, since it will be cheaper, to get my general classes out of the way there, and then transfer to a bigger school, not sure which one yet, though. Eventually I would like to work with kids.
Some of my favorite things are:
Books: Biographies, fantasy, some sci-fi, and just random books that friends recommend.
TV: The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, Hatfields and McCoys, American Horror Story, Community, and some others.
Music: Everything from punk to metal to classical and rap. As long as it has talent, then I'm good to go.
