Hi,
I'm hoping to find someone like myself; a bit alternative & non-mainstream.
I'm a practical & creative person & get enjoyment from making or fixing things. I'm interested in art, photography, music, art cinema, interior design ....
I'm quite a humble person that likes to live a humble life.
I'm not materialistic at all. Status symbols and the latest fashions & gadgets don't mean a lot to me.
I have a great sense of humour & don't take myself too seriously! I don't have a big ego & am not a poseur.
I'm someone that very much enjoys and prefers the simple things in life.
For my personality you could say I'm of a quiet, romantic disposition. Philosophical, sensitive, sincere and a bit of a hippy at heart!
I'm not a loud, extroverted person & try and avoid people of that sort.
I must admit I'm a bit of an old fashioned romantic at heart. I do like to walk holding hands & like lots of affection!
I prefer life away from the crowds, the traffic & the hustle & bustle.
Though going to the city to a gig, night out or exhibition etc is ok I suppose.
I listen to music a lot. I have a large collection & taste in music. Mostly its metal/rock type music but I also like old stuff like the cocteau twins, depeche mode, the cure, killing joke, new model army etc it depends on my mood.
I'm not really a sporty person & am not a fan of football, rugby et al. I absolutely hate blood sports : fox hunting, shooting animals & fishing...
I love animals & I live with two special friendly wolf dogs that mean the world to me.
Hoping to find someone of a similar disposition? A free spirit; someone that doesn't have to wear make up all the time or spend hours getting ready!
And someone that accepts me for who I am?
Distance no object for the right person (within reason)! I have a motorbike that I like riding, so it's not a problem.
I'd much rather travel far to visit someone I care for than see someone near that I don't.
I want someone to occupy my mind in absence; to yearn to see or hear from!
