Kuvailisin itseäni Elder Goth, but I look a lot younger than I am. I am interested in many things. Elegance, decadence, literature, poetry, movies, faery tales and many other things. I write, draw, vlog, make elaborate costumes and exquisite absinthe. I enjoy collecting. I'm also pretty nerdy. I'm a very well rounded person and I appreciate pop culture as much as the esoteric. I don't appreciate over critical attitudes. I like to enjoy myself and sometimes that means being open minded rather than a snob. I think that there can be nuggets of beauty in many places, even in things that are really popular. I love books and reading, particularly antiquarian books, art books and books on calligraphy, illumination, and the history of clothing and fashion. I'm a spiritual person but not flaky or interested in converting anyone to my beliefs or being converted. My beliefs are private. I am not interested in organized religions. I have no problem with atheists or agnostics, as long as my own beliefs are respected. I believe we are all entitled to our viewpoint when it comes to the spiritual. I've been in the Gothic culture since it began, and I am invested in it, but I am interested in other things, as well. I think that people get along when they share belief systems and philosophies, not interests,so much, because you might like something for entirely different reasons than I am. If our reasons are diametrically opposed, we won't get along no matter how many interests we have in common. As far as the Gothic aspects of myself; I am a night person, experience pleasure in cemetery architecture and art, collect Victorian Mourning artifacts/ephemera/history, find Death fascinating, enjoy the Romantic Poets, the Pre Raphaelites, Gothic Literature and some Gothic music,but I'm very picky. I like romantic Vampire stories, even Twilight, though I prefer The Delicate Dependency, Dark Dance and Anne Rice; to a point. I generally wear black or jewel tones, and have red, black, or oddly coloured hair. I wear a lot of unusual/esoteric/dark jewelry. My look is basically Romantic Gothic/Bohemian/PreRapaphaelite. It's the way I feel the most comfortable. I am also more comfortable with alternative people, even if they don't look very radical, though I enjoy dressing/making up very much and would love to share that with someone else. I go to many period/costume events and I used to go to a lot of Gothic clubs. I love an elegant Burlesque show. I've been to a lot of really special shows in my time such as Nick cave, Lydia Lunch, the cocteau twins, Siousxie and the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, christian Death (the original line up, mostly,) the Superheroines, Shadow Project, Peter Murphy (missed Bauhaus, oops,)X,and many others.

Mitä etsit? Good conversation, brains, similar philosophies and attitudes towards life. Someone to share Gothic sensibilities would be a plus. Someone with an open mind. I find that I find many different kinds of people attractive and that someone can grow on me after I've gotten to know them. I enjoy smart people who can make me laugh. Low drama is a plus, though I can be moody, but I want someone who will understand that deep emotions are a part of life. I also appreciate someone who can listen and who knows how to at least use spell check, though not obsessive about it.
