An Ideal First Date Would Be Depends on what you consider a date. I would start off with something simple like a walk or coffee for some light conversation and general "how does this person feel beside me" compatibility. But I wouldn't consider this a date, more of a pre-date.

I feel a first date should consist of dinner and a movie. The dinner is for deeper conversation then that of a walk or coffee, plus you'll know if you run out of things to talk about by this time. The movie provides the chance to cuddle and see if your comfortable in each others arms.
