Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als My hobbies include playing guitar (I would say I'm still a novice), playing and composing electronic music, doing lighting for clubs and venues (I am currently a part time lighting technician at a major Vancouver nightclub) I also enjoy skiing, and used to be fairly good at it although I haven't had a chance to go the last few years. I am also deeply rooted in the local alternative scene, particularly the fetish/goth/industrial scene. I do occasionally go to some punk rock shows and trance nights as well.

My goals and aspirations? Well short term I'd like to go to Montreal again in May to see the Kinetik Festival (It's a 3 year old, week long synthpop/ebm/industrial/noise festival). Long term I'd like to see Europe someday, especially with a special someone. I also wouldn't mind going somewhere tropical and warm for a week or two. Career wise I'd like to eventually work my way into a managerial position somewhere.

So what makes me unique? I think that everyone is unique really, but some interesting tidbits about me are that I was born in the North West Territories in a town that no longer exists (town shut down when the mine nearby did) and I also lived in Alaska from grades 1 to 4. I also have a fairly unique sense of humour and definitely like shock value humour like Family Guy, South Park, Dave Chappelle, Russel Peters, et cetera. I would also say that music and friends make up a huge part of my life. If someone is going to want to date me, they're going to need to get along with my friends. Don't worry though; my friends are awesome and very easy going. I also have a large extended family that I am close with, but they are all super people and very friendly and accepting.

So that's me in a nutshell. I also do have noise induced hearing loss to some extent, so do remember that if you end up talking to me in person or on the telephone. Usually I'm not actually ignoring you on purpose, I just can't hear what you're saying clearly. It's not very pronounced, but if there is a lot of background noise or you speak very softly it could be an issue to keep in mind.

Meine Vorstellung von Spaß ist A first date? Well this is always a tough one because usually both people are at least somewhat nervous. It would really depend on what both of us wanted to do, as well as the weather.

Possible options though could include: going for a few drinks at The Cambie or Club 23 West, going for Sushi, going to a movie, or just going for a walk on the seawall and talking.
