Running without hurting myself. Defying without trying. Meditation and relaxation . . . far, far away! Being alone or with strangers. Dancing to my heart. Taking in a movie, dreaming about a wonderful dream I had, but forgotten.
Allowing my spirit to grab me by the scruff and throw me into traffic when I need human contact.
Musing about my ruling the earth, planning my acceptance speech. Scraping my face off the pavement and shaking off the humility.
Daring to be me when circumstances dictate conformity.
Removing the comfort zone. God, that's hard to do!
Risk! Risk! Risk!
Risk is something I do to increase my conspicuousness as if I have a performance to thrust upon the public eye.
Alas, I have not bartered an ounce of my wisdom or insight for that attention. I just sit there, enjoying the stares and musing what I'm going to do with it, languid and ashamed, I let years turn over without a reward to reciprocate the show of faith from those with baited breath. T
