One that wasn't really a date. No pressure, no expectations, just two people having a good time that could eventually turn into something more. I'm not a big fan of social conventions, and dressing up and doing the dinner and a movie bit seems too formal. I don't think you can really get to know a person that way.
As far as ideal first dates go, the best date I could possibly think of would be with someone I feel instantly comfortable with. I don't generally like rigid structure, so there are a million things that could happen and each would be ideal for the situation. If I had to put forth something though, a nice relaxing time at the hookah lounge with some conversation followed by going back to one of our places, getting blazed and trading our favorite music videos online. - Ich wollte immer schon versuchen Everything.

Anything can be fun, it depends on one's mood. I've had some of the greatest times ever standing alone in a parking garage making echoes. I enjoy tripping every once in a while with someone I'm close to and just wandering around experiencing life.
I like to create music, especially in collaboration. Especially while under the influence. Having a few friends over to smoke a bowl and watch Adult Swim can be entertaining.
Other than that, I'm too eclectic to really go into detail. As anti-social and misanthropic as I am, I'm still kind of a people person, so as long as I'm not doing it alone, it's fun to me.
