I like debates, which is a way of saying that I enjoy intellectual conversations. I don't like arguments, just someone who can keep up. I try to see things from both sides and understand another's viewpoint and appreciate it when someone can do the same with me. Opinions are not worth wars.
There are a lot of things that I read. I also like to try and draw, but most of my stuff will be easily disregarded as there is nothing significant. At least, from my perspective. Others have thought otherwise.
I listen to anything that has a beat, rhythm, melody or a combination of those. I typically listen to things classified as rock or metal, but my tastes run the gamut from idm to whatever.

I tend to be more spontaneous as opposed to planning everything out, and I lean more towards simple things, so a dinner theater or getting something to eat after touring a gallery or museum are things that I find conducive to getting to know someone. In all honesty, an ideal first date is subjective to the person and I'd try to come up with something we both would like.

I tend to look first for a sparkle in someone's eye; a spark that might be evidence of something great. Bright eyes and a wonderful smile can do wonders. I also look for how someone carries themselves and I listen to how they speak, noticing the little nuances they have in their inflections, or how maybe they punctuate their sentences with a wave of the hands.
In consideration of these things, I'm looking for someone who has a wit and sense of humor that's like mine, because I like someone who gets me and that I can get.
