Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als I am a free Island spirit and just as unpredictable, which could be a very good thing if we're attuned to one another. I am comfortable spending many a cozy evening at home, though I confess I indulge in the occasional weekend estate sales and junk store shopping venture. My tastes are varied in the foods that I enjoy and the lifestyles that I pursue. I'll try almost anything, and twice for good measure. I would enjoy a performance at the opera as much as attending a play or a lu'au. The spectrum of my friendships reflects each aspect of who I am, that is, I embrace diversity in its many forms. Diversity is a beautiful thing, but tolerance for diversity is often not as rosey as folks would rather be inclined to think. Be yourself and I'll be me, come what may. We'll know if things are cool, lukewarm or smokin'!

Ein ideales erstes Date wäre An easy-paced day where we hang out in the City and check out great places to hang-out and eat. There's no pressure to "perform, " and it is a test of how comfortable we can be together, or not. If things don't flow naturally at an easy pace, then there is little opportunity to create sparks.
Ich wollte immer schon versuchen Going to a great play with someone who actually appreciates the performing arts genre, followed by a delicious meal somewhere we can relax and chat about the play and maybe a nice walk afterward.

Without a partner, I enjoy playing Ki Ho'alu (Hawaiian slack key guitar); writing children's stories; live-action roleplaying V:TM; teaching Hawaiian spirituality; teaching Reiki, crystalwork and other alternative healing modalities; exploring festivals and other such community and arts events; attending plays, the Symphony or Opera (rarely nowadays but I still enjoy going).
