I Would Describe Myself As A 6ft, long haired Gamer geek, who's into Goth, metal, industrial, EBM, Futurepop etc. music as well as Sci-fi and horror films and books.
I work in biology and tend to also get my geek on for science subjects as well as history and politics.
I'd say I have a gutter level sense of humour, and people can find it hard to tell if I'm being sarcastic or not.

An Ideal First Date Would Be something that fits the time and location, I can be quite happy going for a look around a museum or gallery followed by a trip to a pub or restaurant, as I can going to see a movie or whatever - ideally however I'd want to be doing something that gave us a topic to talk about and around to get to know each other - rather than distracted from that or a situation which lacked such a conversational enabler

My Idea Of Fun Is Highly Variable depending on whim.
I do like to play roleplaying games, but I also enjoy the odd evening in the pub, or a party at a friends house etc. I tend to prefer quiet nights in punctuated by organized or spontaneous bursts of increased socializing if that makes any sense

What Do You Look For? Whilst I'd be lying if I said looks don't have an effect it is generally in my opinion a first impression effect, I much prefer people with a lively personality, intelligent but not pompous, flirty and jokey etc. who are understanding and thoughtful when needed etc.
If someone has a great personality you tend to find their looks more attractive as well, and vice versa I guess. hmm
